8’’ cheeks
5-1/4’’ mouth
1.5’’ port
The low port mouthpiece is made of 1/2’’ sweet iron with inlaid copper strips in the center of the port
The height of the port measures 1-1/3’’ which doesn’t quite reach the pallet on most horses
This port allows even pull and is considered mild in severity
The mouthpiece is sweet iron, which creates a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promotes salivation
The 8’’ stainless steel cheeks provide great balance, smooth leverage application and quick release
This bit will rust when exposed to moisture
