B Gone White Line Treatment

B Gone White Line Treatment

The only solution endorsed by professional farriers to stop white line disease in its tracks. B Gone White Line Treatment is easy-to-use and effective because it’s applied directly to the infected hoof area using a convenient 60cc syringe. Its blend of proprietary ingredients is the only solution that halts equine white line disease. even on stubborn, long-term white line cases.

B Gone Treats these common issues too: Seedy toe, Toe cracks, Brittle hoof wall, Stall rot, Hollow foot, Wall thrush

White line disease deteriorates the inner section of the hoof wall causing hoof wall separation. Because the hoof wall supports most of the horses’ weight, any structural weakening in the hoof can cause lameness, even leading to laminitis or founder, a potentially crippling condition.

White line disease can initially appear as a small spot where the sole of the foot meets the white line. It has a white, powdery look to it. Scraping it with a nail produces a chalky residue. Continued scraping can find holes and cavities running parallel with the inside hoof wall way up towards the coronet band.

The white line is the area between the outside hoof wall and where it meets the sole. It can be seen by picking up the foot looking at the sole of the hoof without the shoe, around 1/8” thickness.

Fungi or bacteria invade the white line within the hoof wall causing it to break down. If left untreated, white line infection is a potentially devastating disease that can spread rapidly around the hoof, inside the hoof wall, making the horse extremely lame. It can spread to other healthy feet quickly.

Instructions for treating white line disease:

Clean the bottom of the hoof of dirt and debris

Remove the shoe, if needed, to get directly to the affected area of the white line

Using a nail, debride the affected area

Apply a thin line of B Gone White Line Treatment around the white line using the convenient syringe. Put it right on the area where its needed. Treating healthy areas of the white line will not harm it.

Reapply once a week for barefoot horses or each shoeing cycle for shod horses until hoof wall has completely grown out.

White Lightning-8oz

White Lightning-8oz

White Lightning is a solution which has the ability, when mixed with equal parts of white vinegar, to produce chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide is very aggressive in neutralizing bacteria, fungus and east, and has been proven to be highly effective in the treatment of White Line Disease, Thrust, and Hoof Rot.

White Lightning creates an environment hostile to bacteria and fungal growths. The chlorine in White Lightning helps remove the biofilm of bacteria and fungus to take away their defenses. This leaves fungus, thrush and white line disease-causing organisms vulnerable to oxygen, which may kill them.

Instructions for use:

Liquid White Lightning- is activated by mixing it with equal parts of white vinegar. This step should be performed in paper or plastic cups, but not in metal as White Lightning is an oxidizer. White Lightning is aggressive for 8 hours once mixed with vinegar. After 8 hours it becomes inert.

Hoof Soak- A foot treatment of 2oz White Lightning , 2oz white vinegar and enough water to cover half way up the hoof wall. Remove shoes, if possible, and clean the hoof of dirt and debris. Insert the clean hoof in a heavy plastic bag or the Disposable Vapor/Soak Boot containing the activated White Lightning solution and secure the top around the leg to prevent the escape of the gas produced by the activated White Lightning. Caution: Do not mix any other product with White Lightning as this could cause an undesirable chemical reaction. White Lightning liquid may discolor hair or clothing. Repeat 2-3 times per week for the first 4-6 weeks. Then 1-2 times per week until the hoof has completely grown out. Treat once a month after the hoof has grown out to help keep White Line Disease away.
