A stainless steel short shank gag with loose rein ring functions similar to a ring bit but allows the use of a curb chain to increase collection and bend. The mouthpiece is a four-break chain with a center link interrupting the continual pressure across the mouth. This allows for more intensity on the outside pressure points. The loose copper center rollers aid in keeping the mouth moist. All mouthpieces are sweet iron, this creates a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promotes salivation.

The mechanics of the rope gag bit elevate the horses nose which causes the withers to follow. As the rider applies more pressure, it causes a break in the poll. The draw cheek and slide is designed to specifically create lift in the front end enabling the horses back end to drive underneath. The rope is a 5/16” quality lariat rope designed for durability.
