If you are looking for more control and help shaping up your horse for the turn then this is the bit you need. The longer shank gives you that added leverage needed for more control. The slide cheek piece enables you to shape your horse and help round him out in the turn. This bit would be for the intermediate to advanced level horse and is designed for competition.
